Story

How it started.

It started with a favour. A friend was running a struggling Italian restaurant in Bairro Alto and her website was, frankly, hurting business. We rebuilt it in two weeks. Bookings tripled the next month.

Word travelled through the neighbourhood — first the café next door, then her dentist, then his accountant. By the end of 2024 we'd shipped thirty sites. We hired a designer in early 2025 and a second developer that summer.

We're still small on purpose. Small means a senior pair on every project, real conversations instead of ticket queues, and zero scope you don't actually need.

How we work

Four things that make a Forge project a Forge project.

It's not a manifesto, just a short list of things we won't compromise on. We've watched every one of these get cut elsewhere, and watched the work suffer for it.

i

Senior people only.

The person who pitches you is the person who designs and builds it. No juniors hidden in the back room.

ii

Three-week sprints.

Most projects ship in 14–21 working days. Anything longer is broken into phases with their own quotes.

iii

Fixed prices.

Quote is in the proposal, signed before kickoff, and doesn't change unless you change the scope.

iv

30-day warranty.

Bugs and fixes are free for 30 days after launch. After that you can keep us on retainer or fend for yourself.

Team

Three of us. All hands on every project.

Two engineers and a designer. Between us, almost twenty years of agency and product work in Lisbon, Berlin, and London — but the only thing that really matters is that we still pick up the phone when you call.
